Well, Easter was craaaaaazy around here. I pretty much worked 24/7, Uncle Dan came for a visit, and the hubz and family had to usher the little gal around to social engagements, which explains the hiatus from blogging.

So. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been up to lately!

We decorated Easter eggs...

Every time Mags pulled an egg out of the dye she said, "Oooh, beautiful!"

Mags got fancied up for Easter Mass...

Later the fam went to Aunt Mary’s for all kinds of fun including an Easter egg hunt. Unfortunately, the other camera was left at the scene of the party, so those pictures will have to come later.

The Easter Bunny visited during Mags' nap...

You could say she was excited...

The family postponed Easter breakfast on the actual day since I had to be at work super-early (which is an entirely different story), so we had it the day after. Nana made fruit bunnies!

And, lately, Mags has been catching up on her reading. That's "Husband Coached Childbirth" she's perusing. You know, just some light reading...

I sincerely hope that each and every one of you had an incredibly blessed Easter celebration! I always feel like the world is brand new and wonderful and fresh and exciting after Easter. I’m praying that the Easter excitement lasts for a long, long time! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Oh my gosh, Maggie was beautiful in her Easter frock. However, the best pictures are the ones of her pulling out the colored eggs and finding her
Easter basket. It is so much fun to experience that much excitement and enjoyment, even vicariously. Being a parent to older children makes me miss the time when some dye and some candy could fix the world. I wish I still had the power to transform the world for my children.
