Seven Things: Part 8 Holiday Photo Edition!

Guys, this Christmas and New Year holiday has been beyond wonderful! As a family, we’re so joyous to have been stretched and challenged and changed for the good in 2012, so this holiday season has been a celebration of the places we’ve been and the places we’re going. Here’s a peek at what’s been going on with us via Seven Things!

1.) I’m not sure if you know this, but Christmas morning with kids is the bomb.

Christmas morning: "And there was great rejoicing!"
There was great rejoicing…

And a Boba Fett hat.

And we read some books.
Clearly, some were less enthused than others…

2.) Santa brought a “Bouncer Bouncer” to Nana and Papa’s house.

3.) We got to hang out with Uncle Dan who was in from Chicago. I don’t know if I could’ve gotten a better bro-in-law than young Daniel. Aside from all of the mouth noises and poop jokes, he’s pretty much my fave. (Okay, okay, I secretly like the poop jokes…)

The girls love him, too. In fact, Mags keeps calling him her "best Uncle Dan EVER!"

4.) We went sledding!

These guys are best friends. Aaaaand I love 'em.

Seriously, isn't that the most precious thing ever?

5.) Mags made her first snowman…and, in the two seconds it took me to run in and get the camera, proceeded to eat his nose.

Noses are apparently quite tasty.

6.) Vin got me this gorgeous leather bound journal. AND he wrote a poem on the inside because he’s magically in love with me. Swoon!

It’s almost too pretty to write in…almost! Anybody have a favorite writing prompt?

7.) And last, with no photo because none could come close to capturing the feeling: I’ve never felt more loved than I did this Christmas.

I hope your holidays have been as wonderful as ours! What are your plans for 2013? I’ll post more on ours later!
