I’ve been ✨trying✨ (read:struggling) to limit my time on social media for Lent and it’s going mostly well. 😅

Girls’ Night with these ladies!! We’ve done pedicures, we each have three special coloring sheets, and we’re watching My Neighbor Totoro. 🥰

Once a month we do a boys’ night and a girls’ night with Mom. It’s our chance to just hang out and for them to have my undivided attention on their interests. Tonight was Mother Boy and Remy insisted that we do a photoshoot before playing Minecraft. It was highly directed and hilarious and I am obsessed with these two fools. I’m also real bad at Minecraft, but they are very gracious. 🥰

This buddy had his First Reconciliation today! It was so precious and I’m pretty sure almost every parent went, too. 🥰

I’m cutting back on social media for Lent…I’ll still be posting a few poems over at @ohblessyourpoems and popping in from time to time. I hope you have a fruitful and holy Lent and I hope you know how precious and loved you are!

One of the things I struggle with as a homeschooling mom with adhd is my speed. Depending on my cycle and my symptoms, my speed can really get away from me. It’s hard to slow down and just let the day be what it is without running around trying to achieve 47 things at one time. It’s not good for me and it’s not good for the kids. And so today, on the first real warm day after winter, we dropped our books for the afternoon, went to the park, and did nothing. Turns out nothing is actually everything we ever needed.
